Kalmes wooden modular homes – thoughtful solutions for a more comfortable life
Kalmes modular homes – a new generation of living spaces designed by CMB architects and engineers
Kalmes is a modular home series developed by the CMB team, combining thoughtful architecture, natural materials, and outstanding energy efficiency. These homes are ideal for those seeking a sustainable, aesthetically pleasing, and modern living environment. The concept behind Kalmes homes is rooted in the vision of CMB professionals for modern, efficient, and rational timber construction, where quality meets functionality.
Modular homes designed for real life
The Kalmes series currently includes four models: Kalmes 35, 50, 70, and 100 – each offering different layouts and sizes to suit various needs, from compact countryside living to spacious family homes with terraces and multiple bedrooms.
A key advantage is that Kalmes modular homes are built in a controlled factory environment. This ensures consistent quality, significantly reduces construction time, and minimizes environmental impact. The structure is made from timber frame panels with regionally optimized insulation in the walls, floor, and roof. All models feature triple-glazed windows, a ventilation system with heat recovery, and underfloor heating via an air-to-water heat pump (or air-to-air pump for the smallest model).
Modern equipment, ready to live in
Each Kalmes modular home is designed as a comfortable, fully functional living space, ready to move in upon installation. The standard setup includes built-in kitchen cabinets, bathroom furniture, sanitary fixtures, and lighting. However, equipment and finishes can be customized depending on availability and client preferences, offering flexibility to tailor the home to individual needs.
Kalmes modular homes are more than just buildings – they are a lifestyle choice. They mean less stress, faster move-in, and a sustainable investment in your future.
