In total thirteen CMB engineers have successfully passed the final exam by the Passive House Institute and gained internationally recognized certificates of a Passive House Designer for professional work in low energy and passive house construction. The certificate is valid for five years from the date of issue.
The Association “Passive House Latvia” has adapted the course elaborated by the Passive House Institute and adjusted in compliance with Latvian building regulations and climate. The course is designed for certified architects and engineers to get a Passive House Designer Certificate to promote the design and construction of low energy buildings. The course is a great opportunity to get necessary knowledge about the design, construction and operation of high energy efficiency buildings in order to meet the requirements of energy efficiency, comfort and construction standards of a passive building.
After completion of the course the specialists shall take an international exam by the Passive House Institute in order to obtain an internationally recognized certificate of a Passive House Designer or a Consultant.
